One memory, five plans.
One meter: an answer. A detection, a land-cover read, a recall — anything that returns signed data costs one. Checking never does: verifying a receipt or auditing the log is free on every tier. We throttle and notify before we ever bill an overage. The public ledger at emem.dev stays free for everyone, on every tier.
The plans
What each plan actually includes.
Start on the open ledger for nothing. Move to Pro or Max when you have evidence worth keeping under your own keys. Bring your team onto one shared memory. Run it airgapped when an agent answering for the physical world becomes part of how you operate.

Questions
The questions we get.
Billing should be the least surprising part of this. Here is how the meter works, and what happens to your memory the day you leave.
What counts as a cell under memory?
Every distinct address you hold observations against. A cell is a stable ground patch roughly ten metres on a side, pitched to the Sentinel pixel. The same cell across a thousand days and a dozen sensors is still one cell — storage counts ground, not readings. Answers are metered separately, and re-reading what you already hold is not one.
Do you charge per query?
No. We meter recall calls by the day, generously, and throttle before we ever bill an overage. Queries against the public emem.dev ledger are unmetered on every tier, including Free.
What's the difference between Max and Team?
Max is one operator running the full operational picture at the highest limits. Team is several people sharing one memory — centralized billing, role management, and a pooled quota, billed per seat from five seats up.
Can I export my memory if I leave?
Yes, on every tier. Your memory exports as signed CBOR in the same format the open emem.dev protocol uses: ed25519 signature over a BLAKE3 hash of canonical bytes, verifiable offline against your public key. The receipts outlive your subscription.
Do you train on my data?
No. The foundation encoders ship pre-trained; your observations never train anything of ours. On Enterprise you can train your own world models on your own memory and deploy them inside your boundary. The data never leaves, and neither do the weights.
Can I self-host?
On Enterprise, yes. We deliver a versioned Helm chart, the model weights, and a signing-key bundle. It runs on-prem or fully airgapped with no calls home, and we keep supporting the deployment.
The free tier is real.
Wire one corridor, ground an agent against it, and see the receipts before you ask us anything. If it works, upgrade. If it doesn’t, tell us why.
